1-2-3 Piano

Why is news often so cynical and dark? Luckily, those in persuit of hapiness can always find a bright spot. Just a few seconds ago a beautiful initiative caught my attention in today’s newspaper. I think it was the simplicity of the name that did dit.
1-2-3 Piano. It’s the name of a child game, in which one person has to stand against a wall with his back to the others and has to say ‘1-2-3 Piano’ in a slow way, since the others can run towards him as long as he’s turned away and try to tick him. You’re hardly a Beligian if you don’t know the game. But here it turned out to be something much more interesting!

Seven pianos were put in the streets and public buildings of Gent, that beautiful city in Belgium which you were just about to visit. ‘Play me, I’m yours’ is the concept, bringing people together trough live-music the target.  I’ve heard that one is standing under the new city-hall and one is strategicaly placed in the library. The positions of the other five you’ll have to find out. Get lucky! And let me know  how you played that pianist ;) ! (You have till the 28th of spetember.)
